As an agency, we continue to work toward strengthening our relationship with the community by recruiting individuals that reflect our vision of striving to do better each day, and by hiring only those who are committed to serving everyone in our community at the highest level. Our men and women are held to high standards and it is an organizational priority and expectation for each of us to hold each other accountable.
I am proud of our Police Department and extremely proud of our community. Sir Robert Peel, the “Father of Modern Policing” made the point that the “police are the public and the public are the police.” The Windsor Police Department cannot successfully perform its responsibilities without the support of you, our citizens, and we recognize our community has been, and will continue to be, our greatest ally in keeping our Town safe.
