Windsor Police Department’s Patrol Officers keep watch of assigned jurisdictional areas of the Town of Windsor, identify community needs, provide support and assistance to the community, respond to calls for assistance, act as a deterrent to crime, enforce state and local laws, and respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Patrol activities include responding to routine and emergent calls for service, conducting crime prevention activities, and engaging in community-oriented policing and problem solving.
