How do I get my VIN verified?

You will need to bring the vehicle along with paperwork displaying the VIN number such as the vehicle title, previous registration, bill of sale, insurance card, or other official paperwork to the Windsor Police Department. VIN verifications are done on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirm the hours of this service before contacting the department. Town of Windsor residents are provided VIN verification services at no charge. Non-residents will be charged $15, cash or check only. Proof of residency is required.
