Officers from the Windsor Police Department responded to a traffic accident in the 9600 block of Eastman Park Dr., on Saturday, April 2, at approximately 6:38 p.m. A 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling westbound on Eastman Park Dr., and struck pedestrians. One pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other pedestrians were transported by ambulance for medical treatment.
The coroner’s office will release the name of the deceased.
The roadway was closed for approximately four hours, but is now open. Windsor Police continue to investigate the accident. Anyone that has information about the traffic accident, and has not talked to investigators, is asked to contact Sergeant Aaron McConnaughey at 970-674-6400.
